my biography

I had the privilege of growing up on a 35 acre family compound located just outside the city of Philadelphia. From an early age, I was given the responsibility of assisting and eventually managing the upkeep of the grounds and family homes on the property. Whether I was maintaining the lawns and gardens; tending the orchard; managing the stable; painting houses; maintaining swimming pools; removing trees; splitting firewood; planning events; or conceptualizing and managing dozens of small and large scale projects, I learned the value of hard work and the feeling of pride when jobs were completed successfully. Over the past two decades, my professional life has been focused on residential and commercial real estate management. I have worked as an estate manager for properties in Maine, Pennsylvania, Florida, and California. I also have professional experience marketing real estate in San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties. Most recently, I was employed as facilities manager for a rapidly growing industry leader in the social media business. I combine my diverse professional background in real estate with many years of personal ownership and management of coastal vacation rental properties. These life and work experiences inspired me to found HawkHill and have provided me with a foundation of diverse managerial and organizational skills that I utilize on a daily basis.
